Group Therapy
Group therapy allows the individual to connect with others experiencing similar challenges. Creating a safe space for individuals to share their thoughts, feelings, challenges with one another and find support from the group.

Individual Therapy
one one one therapy sessions that is client-center and focused on the unique need of the individual. In the first two sessions, the therapist and the client will focus on identifying treatment goals for the client.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can assist family members better communicate and settle conflicts.

Family therapy can be advantageous in any family state of affairs that causes stress, grief, anger or conflict. It can guide the family members to understand each other better and learn coping skills to bring them closer together.

Parenting Education


Access Wellness Center provides culturally specific parenting services for East African families involved in the Child Protection System; parents that struggle with parenting children with challenging behaviors. We work with parents to help understand basic child development, teaching parenting strategies including appropriate discipline; mending the parent/child relationships and working with immigrants in understanding how to parent American born children.

Parenting is the most fulfilling job that we will ever have, but it’s not without its challenges. Modern family life can be stressful and with various pressures on families, it’s not always easy. Ultimately, parents want what is best for their child and a strong parent-child relationship can help lead to better outcomes for children.
